Emotia and Intel HD3000

I have big problem with my HD3000 and Extron Emotia
when I plug:
1. Intel HD3000 -> Emotia (no signal detection) -> 15khz CRT = no any picture
2. ATI R4350 PCI -> Emotia (correct detection) -> 15khz CRT = picture is fine on CRT
3. Intel HD3000 -> Extron RGB202xi (correct detection) -> 31khz VGA monitor = image is fine
4. Intel HD3000 -> Extron RGB202xi (correct detection) -> Emotia (no signal detection) -> 15khz CRT = no any picture

in theory signal out correct from cards (RGB202xi show it)
Emotia + Radeon works perfectly
why it does not work on Intel card?

Probably a wierd timing issue. Emotia's will react slightly differently depending on exact signal; nvidia has an option to set custom resolutions/timings no idea if intel able to do the same...

Presume trying to basically feed it 640x480 @60hz?

Yes , intel probably sends the wrong signal

signal out on PC boot, and disappears on windows (it looks like a driver issue)
when the PC is on safe mode I get image Emotia
On VGA force mode - no image

yesterday I enable option for multiple monitors (in BIOS)
and now works on extended monitors - signal out from Ati VGA connector (image is cloned from the Intel card (main card))

It helped a little. Now I do not must switch cards in the BIOS. but still I must have ATI card....
maybe intel card require information from monitor on ID0 pin11?

Does your Intel only have a VGA connector or a digital output as well ? You could use a cheap HDMI to VGA converter. This way you don't have to worry about the missing communication or information coming from the Emotia.

mainboard have HDMI DVI and VGA
You know any lag free converter?

unfortunately I sold GBS, It also could help - no way to check this now

all the cheap ones are lag free. As long as no scaling or other processing is support - just straight input = output resolution, you should fine. These got really small and cheap, less than US$30 I would assume.

All three should be fine. And yes, even the cheap ones are proper D/A converters.
