I wonder why this isn't up for preorder on Amazon Japan yet. I guess there will not be any L.E. version?

The website shows that the game will be released at 5800 Yen. There is no mention of an LE.

With Cave out of the picture and Qute, Triangle Service, and Moss all in the process of making the jump to next-gen, this is the strongest contender yet for what will be the final physically released X360 STG. Milestone already laid claim to the last officially licensed Dreamcast game, after all.

Though Cave is still in a different league.
Would be great if Qute, Triangle Service, and Moss up their level.

Since I haven't seen any updates from AmiAmi yet, I decided to go with the affordable NinNin price here, altho PlayAsia is good too if you also order a bunch of other products to save a bit on cost and/or shipping. I REALLY need this in my Milestone (and general shmup) collection. The 2nd collection on the Wii was neat back then, but this new port will definitely keep me occupied and playing a lot~ :3

Giest118: SDOJ is great and the port will also be great.

Don't count out G.Rev yet. Also, Moss could always turn around and do a physical print release of Caladrius AC on 360 (as opposed to just doing more DLC for the existing game). Then there's 5pb, who could throw us another potential curveball and release yet another update of Bullet Soul (cause why not).

It'd be nice if Alpha System would do something else with the Shikigami No Shiro franchise at this point. It's rather unfortunate that we've lost Warashi. While we're at it.. really Tatio... is it that "difficult" to port Darius Burst to PS360?

Thanks for the heads-up.
I'm also finding it really weird that this hasn't shown up at Amiami yet.

Well then could you guys at least tell me if these games have any story to them (like Castle Shikigami and such)?

I was thinking of picking up Ultimate Shooting Collection Wii, but if there is no story or anything Ill just get the Flamingo release instead.

There is a story to each game, but I never paid a heckuva lot of attention to them...if you're curious Ultimate Shooting Collection can probably be had for a song these days, though presumably you know that it only contains three games, while the Flamingo collection (and the JP-Wii only Milestone Shooting Collection 2) contain five.

That sucks, but I wanted to get the Xbox 360 version anyways, thanks.

Yes, Radio Allergy has a story, and some hilarious dialogue.

Get the USC version, the localization is surprisingly good.

I got the "Grey" release some time ago and was a bit disappointed that it was just more of the same, the remixes weren't very significant imo. Along with cardboard slipcase, I decided not to get the "Pink."
I do want to support these guys those and enjoy the games and the music, so I'll end up buying this Archives collection. (I'd really like to hear some more entirely new already!)

I was gonna tell you to check the khdn Soundcloud so you can make an impression of what's on Pink, but it seems to be down atm, might be cause of the upcoming release.

Is the Pink album much more remixed than the Gray? Id listened to that soundcloud file previously and was hoping/expecting something more along those lines.

Overall, yes, but some songs are more remixed than others.

The cardboard sleeve was a bit of letdown tbh, I was hoping for a normal CD case but oh well. I've been listening to Grey and Pink pretty much non-stop since I got them! Really good stuff! I hope that k.h.d.n release more remix albums in the future!

Is this the sort of thing I should pounce on now before it gets rare and expensive? Because I just paid out the ass for Cave Shooting Collection Kan. And I still don't have a Japanese Xbox 360.

May as well, this is one release that maybe will become expensive in the future. And even if you don't end up getting a J-360 (or play it another way) you can still flog it later on down the line.
