I'd have to agree...

Though honestly, I did enjoy the Linkin Park bit.

As much as I'd like to criticise the site, I can't find fault in anything they've said there, or the bands listed..

hilarious! although, amy lee (evanescence) does have a decent voice given their "genre" and the bulk of shite on the radio.

NOTE: i was once told by a classmate that i am "like on of those guys in High Fidelity." this was because i stated the Metallica (in its current form)was complete ass and that in the video of "Until it Sleeps," the only decent imagery was ripped off from Bosch (see attached image).

Bosch

can't find a capture of the scene from the music video. anyway, don't care enough to look further. :P

furthermore, i came down really hard on someone for their musical tastes once (Backstreet Boys i think) and made them feel really bad for liking them. i tell ya', i used to be a real bastard.
I have no sig whatsoever.

Hoobastank's first cd was really good. They put out one bad cd with a stupid ballad on it and all of a sudden they are "bad music." You should listen to music because you like it not because you want to get "indy cred." You can't even cash "indy cred" in for anything.

For me, a good test to see if you have bad taste in music is if you see your favorite bands having a calendar on sale at the mall or Wal Mart. Looking for a calendar in January, I saw lots of stupid crap. Linkin Park and Eminem especially come to mind.

If you ask me, it's all relative, what we think is music and what we think is bad music is merely a perception of the auditory senses. Strictly opinion. The purpose of music in actuality is the obtain or maintain a certain mood or feeling between mutual persons. What we consider music in one era, might be considered white noise in another....anti-sound. But truth be told, it's all just a means to obtain a certain mood or emotional "high". In effect, it's like taking drugs.

Of course, that goes for any sort of stimuli in life...

I don't think it's pure genious, I think it's sad and disrepectful.

I bought that t-shirt around 6 months ago, and it is the fuckin coolest shirt you can wear in public :P It differs from most internet t-shirts in its minimalism and elegance. In other words, it doesn't try too hard and is easy on the eyes. It's not arrogant, it's not elitist, it's just an opinion, like everyone else's. (I don't have to wear it to know I have better taste than everyone else!) Mostly it just confuses ordinary people, but people with similar feelings get a great out of it. It is truly a classic.

I've always wanted to make one with maddox's 'peace blows, war kicks ass' logo of the guy getting his face blown off with a shotgun (has to have the phrase too). Bet I'd get suspended, but it'd be worth it, especially with all the punk rockers on campus.
