Every Extend - how to get the secret boss?

Well, I like "Every Extend" a lot, but the game is too short

The author wrote in manual that there is a hidden boss in "heavy" mode, but what exactly are conditions to unlock him?

I don't about finding the secret boss, but if you like Every Extend and think it's too short, then check this out: a full length Every Extend sequel is coming to PSP from Q, the folks who made Lumines. It's called Every Extend Extra:

Wow, the sequel looks interesting! Much more colors and funny design. Well, too bad its not freeware, I`m not planning to buy PSP...

Collecting 8 quickens should trigger the secret boss (actually, I've done it with 7, but I'm not exactly sure how this happened).

The problem is that normally after you get 6 quickens no more will ever spawn, so after you get 5, you'll want to wait for the last three to appear on the screen before you start collecting them.

Basically:
-collect 5 quickens, playing as usual
-when the 6th quicken comes on screen, blast it in such a way that it'll move towards the middle of the playing field (you're trying to keep it on screen for as long as possible).
-the 7th will appear. Also blast this towards the middle of the field
-the 8th will appear. Blast this, then grab it and the other two ASAP

It's not as tricky as it sounds, but takes a bit of practice. Anyway, the secret boss is a lot of fun, and definitely key to a high score in the game.

WarpZone, thanks a lot for your advice! It was tricky a little, but finally I collected 8 quickens and secret boss appeared immidiately! Well, I died really fast there

Cool boss indeed, the really fun one, others was too easy...
