This demo is a small sample of Forgotten Ball, to give you an overview of the look and feel of the game, there are a couple of bugs, and some work in progress areas on show, but I would like to be transparent.
Forgotten Ball demo doesn't work on my PC (I rock WinXP on Athlon XP 2400, so it's one oldboy of rig). Can't comment on the controls, then, but "2.5D" sounds intriguing.
Make sure you play the first Super Monkey Ball*) and Kororinpa so you can see where it's at in 3D. I think some computer games have more advanced physics, but those two don't need any better.
*) With a GameCube joypad. I'm not crazy about the controller, but Super Monkey Ball and F-Zero GX benefit from its narrow dead zone. Then play Super Monkey Ball Jr. if you can't believe GBA port was a good idea.
The rear gate is closed down
The way out is cut off
Kirby's Tilt n Tumble was pretty cool from what I played. The Aforementioned Canvas Curse/Power Paintbrush is great too - really looking forward to the sequel.
Bal Cube really is a different sort of game - it's more of a Breakout-style thing - but you always like to bring up barely-related rarities in threads like this so I thought you might appreciate it (though I also think you might have heard of it anyway).

Ahhh, bloomin' XP! I need to get a xp machine built this week so I can test it more promptly.

Shadows tale was a really nice little game, really enjoyed it!
Anyway, last 5 days and £451 to raise; fingers crossed!
