R-9A Arrowhead, Ikaruga, and Puyo Puyo's Carbunkle could be seen in the exhibition hall at the 2014 Shizuoka Hobby Show this weekend.

serious question, has carbuncle ever been in a shmup

that gala-puyo thing doesn't count

Nope. He's been in RPGs and even a Roguelike, but no Puyo Puyo shmup so far. (That idea is pretty cool though, I think. Suddenly I have a vision of some vs shooter similar to Twinkle Star Sprites, but shooting Puyos in chains and such... )

Didn't see any. This R-9A Arrowhead was the only Plum kit I saw at the show. Also, Plum doesn't attend the Shizuoka Hobby Show. They attend Wonder Festival, though. Wonder Festival is where you'll see model kits by Plum, Kotobukiya, and Fujimi.

I'd be kinda surprised if some Compile fan out there never put him into a doujin shooter, though I suppose you don't see all that many Compile-ish homebrew games out there to begin with.
