Latin American games
The only two I can put my hands on at the moment are: GuimO (Brazilian) and Zeno Clash (Chilean), but there must be more. Any recommendations?

Re: Latin American games
Some time ago there was some manner of "game jam" featuring stuff by Brazilian studios, you might want to look into the names mentioned there. I also noticed (but haven't played) a recently-released title apparently based on Brazilian mythology, though I'm not sure if the creator's actually Brazilian.
Re: Latin American games
The only Brazilian games I can think of are blatant rip-offs of other games.
Mônica no Castelo do Dragão
Sapo Xulé vs Os Invasores do Brejo
I may have played GuimO in the past, the UI is vaguely familiar. But it was definitely not a popular game over here.

Neo-Geo fighter Rage of the Dragons was from the Mexican studio Evoga, with some involvement by Japanese staff.
Mônica for Master System isn't a ripoff, it's an official reskinning of Wonder Boy for the Brazilian market.

GuimO sounds like it could have had some cult following in Europe, where demoscene was mad strong. The echoes of those days haunt me in the original Burnout and Jesper Kyd scores. GuimO OST scratched somwhere near that spot.

Truco Clemente. Argentine pride.
Re: Latin American games
Same deal with that Sapo Xule hack of Psycho Fox, which is also official. There is another Sapo Xule too, also official, that is a hack of Astro Warrior.Pretas wrote: Mônica for Master System isn't a ripoff, it's an official reskinning of Wonder Boy for the Brazilian market.

What was that Argentinian (I think) shump called where the playable ships keeps growing? Actual cab, last year or so.

Nave.
I would like to play it, but I'm too lazy to go to a nightclub just to test it.

Nave may not have much choice as to where it's exposed, but the thing itself looks like a step in the right direction for cabs. Most becoming space for them, in this day and age, would be museums, art galleries... Nave seems like the good kind of "artgame" to me.

I think Papo and Yo is from a Brazilian designer, too.

Whoa, I downloaded Wind & Water: Puzzle Battles years ago, but the name didn't spring to mind this time.
