A generic scanline setting that works for "all" machines?

Post by emuola »

Hi.

I just got my shiny new Framemeister and it's just awesome :) Running the latest fw. One thing I'd like to know is that if it's possible to find a scanline setting that is suitable for *all* my retro computers/consoles? With suitable I mean a setting that displays the scanlines correctly. Currently the are some "missing scanlines". Like there are n scanlines visible then a missing one and again there are n scanlines visible. The scanlines are kinda shown in patterns. As it's not possible to create custom presets (for every machine separately), I'm relying on you guys :) Here's what I have:

C64 (pal) (works ok with default settings)
Amiga 1200 (pal) (works ok with default settings)
Spectrum +2 (pal) (missing scanlines as descbibed above)
Amstrad 6128+ (pal) (works ok with default settings)
Philips 8235 MSX2 (pal) (works ok with default settings)
Turbo Duo (ntsc-j) (missing scanlines as descbibed above)

Is there some magic vaue for the scanline settings, that would be ok for every piece of hw above?

Thanks!

The missing scanlines are caused by a faulty signal interpretation. If you change the vertical height of the image by one click in the menu it will be fine. It's unfortunately just neccessary for some, but not for all the systems.
