I can't get over the fact that some people here are actually upset about CAVE offering their collection again. What's the big deal? What part of it is a fraud or swindling? They're selling their game collection again (with a new game in it) for fuck's sake, no-one is forced to buy it and there's no fraud, cheating, any bad business involved in it.
Is it just so, that some people here are so keen to CAVE that they have hard time resisting to buy it, and they are mad because CAVE is teasing them again?
It seems like some sort of hysterical behavior :?

Those poor resellers offering the old collection on Ebay for € 600,- or more will starve

Doesn't say anything about it, so I assume no. 12* games on 7 discs, so perhaps it's included on one of them...? No mention of soundtracks either.

*edit: forgot about MMP / PS disc.

Superplays are included. 12 games on 7 discs, then 7 superplay DVD titles.

They just had to throw in a half-ass Ibara emulation - exclusive to this set of course - and everybody would buy it all over again.

Dude, April Fools was yesterday. Plus, someone already did a CAVE one. Pull the other one, that one's been pulled already.

Dlc disc is in fact included. If you summarize all the 12 cave games , guwange is one of them

I think people are referring to the DLC update patches issued for almost every game, not Guwange. But that could happen as well.. Anyones guess as to what else is on the Guwange disc.

The first collection has guwange as a dlc code, but as you've said 12 games on 7 discs. If that is true maybe this time around Guwange could be included in a disc with all the dlc. Is just a guess but if that turns out to be true I am sure that a lot of people is gonna double dipp.
Is my first dipp though since I have missed the first one and Cave has to milk their fans with a few extras not only Saidaijou.
It also may happen that all the patches and dlc are already included on the game discs themselves.

I seriously doubt that.. they'd have to get all of the discs re-certified by MS if they're new pressings, and that ain't cheap.

Well we are just guessing and final details are to be confirmed. If I am right, first details about the first Cave collection were also incomplete, and when Cave finally made it official all the content was described. Is gonna be released in 2 months so we will know more in the coming days/
And this may confirm that Cave needs money so far XD

lol CAVE.

Really sad seeing one of the last bastions of the genre shooting off their own foot and continuing upwards.

It's not that they're actually committing a fraud or whatever. But it's so blatant that they're just trying to milk their fans for more money, that it's almost sad.

CAVECOM

But I dont see any wrong with this, they trying to get more money. Not any different then Capcom and all their Street Fighter versions.

? ... that's more akin black label versions - game changing to some, tweaks to more casual players.

The problem is it's just a bulk buy 'bundle'. The perceived difference and confusion of the 'celebration/tribute collection' version rather than the 'game bundle' is the issue here.

As a bundle? Sure, alright, but you not introducing/attracting new players at this price... so ... you're left with existing fans who probably have most/all the games, and this time round can't really take this as a collectors 'celebration/tribute' piece because there was apparently one of those already... and there's no new extra exclusive hook here as far as I can tell...?

So yeah... not sure they'll get much milking out of this... but I suppose there could be a couple of people who missed out first time round, or want another bookend :)

Just another chance for people who didn't get it the first time to score a great deal.

You guys who think this is anything other than that are fooling yourselves.

Can anyone clarify on the contents? So it doesn't include a book but it still has the superplays? What about the OSTs?

I can't see them generating any more interest/hype with these collections unless they include older games' source code or something.

We don't know for sure yet. Like the first one is gonna be said before release. Wait and see, and is gonna include something cool to rape everyone, Cave knows how to do that..

well, I sure would be one of the rape victims if Cave included a physical retail copy of Guwange
but that's not going to happen so my virginity can rest in peace
