As it happens i've had ideas to try and put a game together for a while.
Whilst at university I used to come up with ideas and write them down.
I spent a lot of time playing the games from my youth such as on the PCE, SFC, MD/Genesis, Saturn and the Neogeo.
I never had enough ideas to put together a complete game with regards to overall concept, graphics and programming.
BUT NOW!!!!!
I am not in university and planning the next phase in my life....
Whilst this is going on I am starting to program more and feel that perhaps I wouldl like to try my hand at game programming again.
I regard schmups as my favourite genre and would like to put together something a bit of a retro shooter.
I like 3D stuff, but I want to put together something hand drawn and 2D.

I am appealing for artists and people with ideas for an original game.
At present I am sketching ideas down for the graphics but would appreciate some help from other people, particularly with designing sprites.
I intend to develop using SDL libraries as I have had fun so far with SDL.
Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated.
