Hi All,
I have been enjoying my new Egrett II with some great shooters, one of them is Gunwage.
As I have been playing the heck out of it I'm beginning to notice the odd control hiccup here and there.
I find that from time to time the character can not walk forward (up the screen) and I just get stuck in a side to side motion.
I invariably die and end up at the credits screen when strangely enough up works again.
I'm wondering is this a faulty joystick or is this a PCB issue before I go in and change the stick.
Has anybody had this trouble.
Cheers

Is it because you have the squid out?

Yup, that's actually part of the game. When you are using focused "shikigami" shot your character only moves left/right, and up/down actually controls the movement of the beast you summoned. Very, very awkward to get the hang of, but it's part of what makes Guwange so cool.

Yeah I know that the Shikigami stops your moving vertically but I was getting a fail without it. Anyway after tinkering I think it might have been a loose connection. Duh!
And yes it is one of the best cave shooters ever I have to say.
