Saturn version has way more slowdown. Also screen orientation makes a big difference. Boss pattern and bullet speed changes arcade vs. original.
Fascination...

^^ Most definitely. The last boss's patterns are totally different between arcade and original. There are much more bullets in arcade too. Examples are the drones right before the 1-7 boss. In original they don't shoot, in arcade they do(rudely found that out playing in the arcade). Most drones usually shoot more also.

You have no idea how frustrated I am playing this game for a year now and I still can't get it right. Played like fucking 5 hours today, and what the fuck do I get? Nothing. No 1cc makes Adam a very dull boy.

Which parts of the game is giving you trouble?

Sometimes it's better to bomb then dodge a tight pattern in Playstation Original 1 because the patterns are meshed too tight, that only you have mere pixels to navigate in.

I play Arcade usually, but know that I'm having more trouble with it than original 1. Want to stay true to Psikyo though, also it's more fun to tate since you get more space to move freely and faster/more bullets.

I'm still having trouble with stage 1-4, seriously! I think that it's in my nature not being good at something that demands concentration, since I never get any better. I have reached the last boss a couple of times, and I know the occasional safespots and so on, but still die. The bullets are to fast for me, and the hitbox is so big that I always screw up, even when I get to the last boss with 2 lives and 5 bombs.

And btw, it better to bomb than dodge.
Confused that even you born in USA get it mixed up

A perfect example of being a product of the American education system.

The few times I played Original 2 the wobbling gave me a splitting headache. When I finally got a chance to play this in the arcade, it was so much better than Original 1.
