hi shmups members , i was wondering if a Official Sony PS1 RGB Scart cable a PS3 and viletims Console to Arcade adapter works ?

I think so. The Ps3 would be outputing just 480/576i. Why would you want to play PS3 on an arcade monitor?

But all these games are allready made for progressive resolutions like 480p and up. I don't think they will look very good on arcade monitor. But with that setup you will manage to do it

I used to use my PAL PS3 via an XRGB-2+.

576i as I was PAL resulted in a cut off image.

If you're in NTSC land it would work nicely at 480i though.

And no you can't set a PAL PS3 to 480i.

my quest is to play Time Crisis 4 on my Astro with viletims adapter , but i cant get a solid answer that Time Crisis 4 on PS3 runs full screen in 4:3 mode..............


i read on the Time Crisis 4 wiki that the game can be played on either 4:3 or Widescreen setups , the question is in 4:3 mode is it full screen ?
