The place was fine last year. They even gave you milk and cookies for breakfast.

It's totally possibile they decided to turn it into an horrific human slaughterhouse while I wasn't there though.
I'll let you guys know.

The players and I are shipping out on Monday. We have interviews with two media organizations, one of which is Narita city television, before we depart.

Can't wait to meet everybody in France.

P.S. Someone bring a Daifukkatsu board so I can teach EU the joys of DFK.

I've totally failed so far with organising interviews (I'm attending as a regular visitor, but also press, as I'm writing it up for a publication. adversity1; any chance I could organise something with you and the players?

Here is the timetable for Japanese shmup demos (GMT+1) :

Friday :
WTN - Dodonpachi - 12pm
Hattori - Ikaruga - 2pm

Saturday :
SPS - Ketsui - 12pm
WTN - Dodonpachi - 4pm

Sunday :
Hattori - Ikaruga - 2pm
SPS - Ketsui - 3pm

You will find links to streaming at http://www.stunfest.fr/stream.

Lots of other things to see on stream as well, hoping to set up streaming of the shmup.com stage as well where you would see Eaglet, Icarus, DEL, Plasmo and Smraedis perform and lots of others!

Superplaylive streaming also will feature PuyoXTetris & Puyo puyo Tsu with Kan, Hattori, as well as speedruns including Cosmo performing!

Also you might have noticed Mages is sponsoring the project as well, this was announced yesterday. We'll have Bullet Soul : Infinite Burst playable on XBOX360, and Sakari the producer trying to sell Ketsui copies in Stunfest :D
Scores, replays, videos || I have written a guide about getting good at shmups. Check it out !

Will do! Eurogamer seem keen on an event round-up, so any quick chats I can have with players would be ace. I'll hunt you down! :)

And thanks for the timetable PROMETHEUS. I'm becoming very excited now. Can't wait to meet forum members I've not met for years, and those I've never met before. And going on holiday with the London shmup fam'!

Awesome! I'll probably go there in the early afternoon, I'm like not even 1km from the place.
See you later!

Heh, just gave the video iconoclast made of Under Defeat HD a look. Could not understand a word that was said there, at least not with all the music and sfx on top of it. And I am a native German speaker.

Ha ha its not just me then? It could be very interesting to find out; G Rev did post the dialog that plays when you approach Dead End.

Reichssoldaten.
Rückwärts!
Absperrvorrichtung Ihr Feuerregelsystem, werfen Sie Ihre Arme hoch, und landen Sie sofort!

http://www.grev.co.jp/ud_ac/

also can hear some of it here:
http://www.grev.co.jp/ud_ac/ud_demo.mp3

Anyway, a mystery to debate at StunFest!

LOL! That looks like Google translate German, or close at least.

Soldiers of the Reich (Empire).
Backwards!
Shutoff (the word used is not a verb tho, but a noun which could also translate to damper or shut-off device among other things) your fire regulation system (ó_o), throw your arms up (this sounds stupid in English as well, perhaps makes more sense translated back to Japanese), and land instantly (yay, a bit that makes more sense).

I might have just watched SOF-WTN himself 2-ALL Dodonpachi on his first credit. Maybe.
Also, I might have spotted SPS scoring 530 milion on Ketsui after a couple warm up run. Who knows.

All I know for sure is, my life was changed forever today.

Good point. I'm the guy with thick framed glasses, always wearing a hat, and very likely to have my skateboard with me – and/or a huge red Royal Mail bag – for easy spotting. What do you punks all look like?

I am pretty unconspicuous, but I know what some of you guys look like, and I guess most of you know what Plasmo looks like. So should not be an issue :D

We'd love to feature the StunFest on STGWeekly! Please take plenty of photos and video. We could make a slideshow and share your video while you commentate and we interview you on what it was like to be there, highlights, your interactions with the superplayers.

That way it would give us an opportunity to build more hype for the next one!

Cheers,
F-man

someone there should try to get contact information for ZBL-NAI from SOF-WTN, so we can all start to pester him about allowing the roms from his ddp campaign ver board to be dumped before the game is completely lost to history

Looks like SPS will go for a 600mil ura clear after all, I'd bet he won't be that compromising to safe guard a 500mil omote clear XD

Anyway he's my idol and inspiration, his performance is surely the best of Ketsui players can offer.

should be there on 1.May at ca. 21pm.
btw KAG, while you're enjoying yourself, could plz do me a favor get an autograph from SPS?
