My initials but me as in AKA JAPJAC (pro. "Jap J.A.C." NOT "Jap Jack."!).

Nationality - English (Would be interested in seeing this info from other players from now on).

Highest score from first ever 1-ALL, 1-Credit (15/01/09).

Non-PCB owner, just game centre frequenter, in my defence.

Too much information, sorry. :D

Got this game borrowed recently (thanks again!) and thought I might put up a very first score to get myself motivated:

AVE - 83,881-941 - Stage 5 - Panzer-Jäger

Very stupid me. Came into 1-5 with four lives and lost them all in the first part of the stage, even before it starts scrolling backwards - and did not use a single bomb in that stage.

Gave up playing with Panzer-Jäger. Too fast, too uncontrollable without the Ketsui experience I would need to master it. Tiger-Schwert is indeed much easier to play with, I think I'll stick with it although it's not as much fun to score with as with the other one if you ask me, but well...

result from a couple of credits this evening:

AVE - 102,324,918 - Stage 1-5 - Tiger-Schwert

Image

Died shortly before the 5th boss. Some embarassing deaths in Stg 5 as well, but I used a lot more bombs than normally (->good)

New score, died shortly after the backscrolling-section

AVE - 109,428,586 - Stage 5 - Tiger-Schwert

Image

Just a small improvement. Still a couple of points better than GP, but the same amount worse than Sven.

Stage 5 is clearly my weakpoint. After this run I again reached Stage 5 with only one miss in early stg4. From then on I kept dying and bombing, but all of my 5 lives were used untill after the backscrolling-section. >_<

Played this overhyped crap again. Had a hell lot of fun, but not as much as other people do so it wasn't fun to me.

Image

AVE - 117,097,000 - Stage 5 - Tiger-Schwert

~1cm of boss energy left. I wasted two lives on the boss but no-missed 5-2. I also did some really nasty dodging stuff towards the end of Stage 5, when there were about 3 or 4 TigerSchwert/PanzerJager-clones on the screen and all the other ships/turrets still shooting, but I got through it nomiss/nobomb. Absolutely insane, pure luck. I wish I have had so much luck at the boss >_<

Lost THREE fucking lives at the Stage 5 midboss. So annoying. I screamed at the sky.

PS: My first "real" Ketsui 1CC. 8) The first one I got in Hey! Akihabara, but with customized settings that let you start with 4 ships in stock. I had one life left when I finished the game, but that was still one too much to count it as a real 1cc. ;)
