They list their CLIENTS as: Cave, Sega, Tecmo, Capcom, Ima Corporation, and 200 arcades countrywide.

And yes, your theory is wacky. Best have some evidence before you come up with such silly things, otherwise it makes you look foolish.

Did you even read my post?

I gave an example from another industry. Publishers which set up parent distributors do not only distribute their books. This is natural.

Also, your tone is not appreciated. I have had enough of rude bastards these past few days. Either acquire some manners or stay the hell off the threads I start.

Learn to give some evidence when you make an argument, rather than spouting groundless theories. And my tone is fine, you're just mentally deranged. Anyone can see that.

Good thread. Nice to see stuff like this start without me to instigate it, shmups.com is growing it's wings.

"And my tone is fine, you're just mentally deranged. Anyone can see that."

Awesome.

Still sore about your poor arithmetic skills, are we?
Well then you absolutely must give us another one of your stock one liners, or perhaps one of the humorous web photos you surely keep in a prominent folder on your desktop, no doubt a collection which took many a friday and saturday night for you to compile. We're all waiting, please don't disappoint. After all, when words become too difficult for you to combine, what better way to show us who's boss, eh? Just don't let that smile on your lips leave too long a residue, it's unbecoming.

One way to make a folder prominent is to click on folder properties and choose 'change icon'. Perhaps the 'star' icon would do it for you, as that's 'immediately noticeable'. Another way would be to remove everything from your desktop except that one folder. I'm not sure what Cigs does, you'll have to ask him. Hope that helps, if you need further advice try enrolling in a nightly computer class in your local area.

+1 Troll.

The original post was read by most with a questioning tone. Note the phrase "I have a feeling" which most folks would read as "this is merely an idea, and not provable fact".

You started your retort nicely enough, and the poster even thanked you for helping him out . You then changed tone and insulted him. 4 posts later you're still doing it. Hence the "troll" comment.

It's funny that when you read comments on other forums about shmups players and indeed, the shmups.com forums, the same words always crop up. "Bitter". "Jaded". "Self destructive". For once, I'd love to show the rest of the world that we niche market gamers aren't all sour old men sitting at home shaking our fists at each other.

Once again, could everyone keep it civil? Are we all capable of such things? And where are the mods in this place? Doesn't anyone clean the cruft out of these threads?

And what's bad about that? Makes us sound pretty cool. We totally "live on the edge" like that Aerosmith song. Someday we will all go out in a "blaze of glory."

Y'know, I like it when we argue. At least it shows we are all human, and not the bunch of game-hoarding old cranks that most other forums perceive us to be. Seems like people here have started to develop a sense of humor (at last).

You guys should take a cold shower though. Time to cool off. ^_-
