Thanks, LordHypnos! Also, it's great to see you again, too! Sorry I didn't come back sooner, since, besides being busy, the other half was, I decided that I won't make my next public post until I get something meaningful done on my end, STG-wise.

Anyhow, yeah man, this game on lunatic was something alright, and I was initially trying to clear it before university starts again (This left me w/ a time frame of only a few days left) and I had mapped out my routes for the game in only a few days (Enough to where I could, in-theory, reach stage 6 w/ 5 - 6 lives, and just muscle through Remilia, no problem), so all I had to do was grind out the fulls runs until that one run comes, then university started just when I did that, and that was stalled, much to my chagrin, at least up until now, and it was at the one time I actually had free time to do other stuff, hehe! :3

So, yeah, did I miss anything here, LordHypnos? It's been a while! Also, have you had any goals in-mind since your big Mars Matrix 1cc, though I can see that you'll be making an appearance in STG weekly, when they actually do an episode on it (Can't wait to actually hear you speak, haha! I'm trying to imagine what your voice would sound like)! Know if Rob's going in w/ you in that soon-to-come episode or no?

Thanks, CStarFlare! Yeah, I've been wanting this clear for a while, and now, I finally have it! It's a really satisfying clear to have, totally happy w/ it! That, and I can finally move on to other things, as well (I may try scoring in EoSD at some point, but for now, I can finally go to beat Flandre, since I put her off intentionally until I beat EoSD lunatic)!

Nothing new on my end. I've been super busy, but I've been playing Samidare when I shmup these days, and will probably try to clear that next, though I've said that about a lot of games already, hahaha. I've definitely undergone a lot of skill erosion since the MM clear, unfortunately.
Yeah, theoretically I will be on STGWeekly, though I haven't heard back from Frenetic since I PM'd him. I hope I do an alright job. I'm pretty sure my recorded voice sucks tho
I wish Rob would co-commentate, because I'm sure he'd have a lot of enlightening info on MM, but I don't think he was planning to.

Thanks, Jonst! Great to be back! Yeah, that EoSD lunatic 1cc was a bit of a rough one. I had only a few days of summer to work on it, then school came along (school made it longer than it had to be (time constraint, hard to find time to play)), but I made it through, though, that I did! It might be a while until I get another big thing, however, since, well, you know, school and all that, but yeah, I'm still around, I didn't go too far off, as you can see!

What about you, Jonst? How's Ketsui coming along? I heard you've beaten x-mode, great job on that, by the way!

Yeah, eventually beat x mode (twice!) thanks man! Well, I decided to go for the arcade clear as well. I've come extremely close at least 3 or 4 times, getting evacaneer down to mm of life. Just one more bomb or even better another life in stock would easily do it. Although some things are getting in the way of my practice, I Broke my wrist a while back and now have an ear infection which is pretty painful. I will get the clear at some point though, hopefully before Christmas!

Heh, I know that situation, the moment you're really close to beating the game (or in this case, 1-ALL it) but then, you die right before you get to be able to kill the final boss! >< Well hey, if you managed to get that far often, then I'm certain you get there more and more often, and then one of them will just clear! Thanks blinge! Yeah, I was surprised to pull it off with a bit of score! I had an unexpectedly good run and pulled off some really lucky dodges on stage 5 at the descent and with evacaneer, when i say lucky, i mean places where i typically get trapped and murdered. I somehow kept my nerve and sailed through them! I still had a bomb in stock when I cleared, I still can't believe I've actually done it!

EDIT: it's the first time on a game that we have both cleared that I've actually beat your score! But I did use tiger schwert, which is the easier/standard ship I've seen clears done with...

Probably because most of my garbage scores don't get posted. Yeah so I hear, but I enjoyed using Panzer Jager more when I was first getting into the game and so I'm used to that ship now. However I want to go after that omote loop someday so maybe it's worth switching? I'm trying to weigh up which is more effort in the long run.

Yeah, I'm not that bothered about score, generally I only care as far as getting extends go but it was nice for the clear score to be my highest on the table and in general on arcade mode. Not an earth shattering score by any means but I'm pleased with it. It was a survival run so i'm glad i'm done with it for now ...I dunno man, I find tiger easy to take out sneaky shit from the sides but if you're more comfortable with panzer, maybe just stick with that but ultimately, you won't know until you try it to see if your preference has changed...

I just got the 1CC for Crimzon Clover World Ignition's Novice Original mode! First 1CC ever, Type Z, tense the whole way through, no missed Crimson Heart, and score like 122b or something. Screencap coming soon.

EDIT: And 2 hours later I got the Novice Boost 1CC with 3 lives in stock at the end.

Put a credit into Espgaluda 2. First one since two summers ago and almost cleared it. :> There was like 1cm left on the final boss health gauge.
The run had some pretty cool moments but unforunately stage 5 really stunk and claimed 3 lives. And lets be honest, stage 5 is not very hard so dying more than once if at all there is pretty lame :<

Still tho, happy with the run so i'll post it here as a milestone. I don't think this is a very hard 1cc but I'll need to play more credits of it so I can move my character with more confidence. The game is easier with aggressive play but scarier.

Made it on my last life with no bombs left.

Did it while a non-shmup playing friend was watching, hearing his commentary while I played was funny.
