So my Euro scart adapter from Retro Accessories arrived yesterday:

First i connected it through my scart switch and i got weird artifacts all over
the screen. Then i tried connecting my RGB scart cables directly
to the adapter and what i got was pure 240p goodness! At least for SNES and Genesis. I really didn't expect it
to be this sharp
I can sadly confirm though that
the PSone SCPH-101 dont work correctly. I get dropouts every 5 seconds and
the picture is all twitchy. Do you think it is a cable issue, or will
the XSync-1 or Sync Strike solve this issue? Maybe i'm better
of getting a PS2?
And as for my
PC Engine Duo-RX.. I bought it in 2007 from VideoGameImports.com and it's RGB modded. I get no picture whatsoever but i do get sound. I have never had any problems connecting it directly
to my TV. What do you think might be
the issue here?
The only info regarding
the RGB mod i got is this:
"
The RGB mod is
the best you will find anywhere.
The actual conversion technique is fantastic and
the picture quality is VASTLY better than
the standard composite. There are no downsides.
The colour booster is essential, otherwise
the picture is very dull. We have a colour booster built into
the conversion, rather than as an extension cable or something
like that, because extension cables always degrade
the picture quality; better boost
the signal right at
the source, which is
the PC Engine's motherboard."
