Hey everyone,

I've been working on this game for almost 1,5 years and today it's finally released on Itchio!

About:
DanganZero takes inspiration from other shmups such as ZeroRanger, Blue Wish Resurrection and Cho Ren Sha 68K.
The game is fast-paced and can be quite challenging. The player has two fighters to choose from and must use them to destroy hordes of enemies and defeat aggressive multi-phase bosses.

- 5 challenging stages
- 11 unique boss fights (including the TLB)
- 3 difficulty options
- Simple and clean scoring system
- PS4 controller support
- Energetic soundtrack by Cyber-Rainforce

The game look very good, too bad it only supports PS4 controllers.

Unfortunately I got a lot of input lag when I tried playing this on keyboard and the movement felt oddly stiff even not counting the lag. It's like the input polling isn't frequent enough or something. The (normal difficulty) gaps look big, but due to the control issues actually getting through them consistently was harder than it should have been. I tried everything I could on my end but nothing changed, and your gameplay video looks like it has the same behavior, so I can only guess the game's just designed that way.

Hello, the input lag issue that you're having is very strange. I've tested the game on multiple computers (and watched other people play it) but I haven't seen any form of input lag so far.
Is it possible that the computer you're playing on uses older hardware? Maybe you've already tried this, but in case you're using a laptop: is the charger plugged in? Some laptops limit fps to 30 when running on battery power (which could cause input lag).

Tried again today and I don't think it's a performance issue - runs at 60FPS according to Fraps, very minor stutters during some spawns (like stage 1 before the first wave). I've played with the GPU prerendering settings, resolution, frame limiting, Windows settings, even moving it to a different HDD. Unity's fullscreen mode is just window scaling in disguise so if my OS is forcibly vsyncing then that might be what I'm noticing.

I don't think it's something to be highly concerned about, it's not highly reported and I don't notice it all the time anyway, but when I do notice it it's really obvious.
