Lost Spaceships is not only my first shmup but also the first game that I finished ;)
I always dreamed of making a game and decided to make shmup because I always love this genre. I was making it in my free time during my studies. I hope it will meet the expectation of shmup fans. :)

Lost Spaceships is a free mobile game that is currently available for preorder for iOS (v 12.0).

Story

You play the role of a pilot who wants to save the universe. For this purpose, he embarks on a journey to find spaceships of pilots who failed their mission to tip the balance in favor of his allies.


Game mechanics

The game is a space shooter with pixel art graphics where every hit destroys the ship. It has infinite difficulty levels which increase after beating the final boss. The controls are very simple, to activate super weapons you can tap anywhere on the screen while controlling the ship.

Does each item have its own animation counter ?, Looking good.
There you can boost performance with setting texture only once with one global animation counter, only not looking so good for screenshots.

That's an extremely worthless amount of performance boost for this number of objects on such a modern platform. I would assume he's using a texture atlas anyways which would make the performance difference nearly zero.
