Bit of a long shot (would actually make for a nice game name!) but looking for a defunct prototype of a (IIRC) horizontal shmup. From what I remember, a lot of popcorn enemies and a number of fake parallax clouds, mirrored vertically (so same on top / below). Seem to remember it was written in flash a long time ago and had a clip on Youtube. The whole game was made out of blue-ish colors..
Would love to a) find that clip and b) see if the author is still around..
