My next game are NemesisOnline (for 1 to 8 players at internet)

The game will have a EDITOR STAGE for create new stages.

Hi

Yes, I have put infinite "options" (only need change a number) but I not put.

The game have "secrets codes". With any secret code you can put 4 options (defualt limit are 2) and with other secrect code you can put 8 options.

I am doing changes in the stage editor, now 3 different planes (differen speed for plane) can be created to simulate depth (like in the nemesis ' 90 kai) and the graphs now are read directly in *.BMP or *.DIB (channel alpha for any bit) without having to create a file *.DXG. I have added new options for the positions of the enemies who can be random and the possibility of creating several instances of an enemy to create the stones that go out of the vulcans of the end of stage 1 of gradius 1.

Now we have two scores. One with the score obtained in stage and total score of game. With the score of the stage I will do a rank in the web to see the one who obtains more score in each of the stages.

If nothing strange happens for the weekend I will have the version 0.09 ready.

I am working at the web www.remakesonline.com/nemesis to put all the downloads and the ranking of stages, and see the games online created with the players who exist in each of them (like www.miniracingonline.com/partonline.php for my game MiniRacingOnline)

* You can register to AUTOMATIC upload score (except offline mode)
* It is not necessary to register, but if you do not register they do not upload scores
* 2 scores, one for every stage and other one for the total score

* in web you can see online games at real time
* in web you have a tagboard for coments

New version 0.10 with improvements in the stage editor. Due to the changes the previous stages already do not serve and it is necessary to turn them to going download. The hiscores have deleted

Some comments after playing the first 5 or so stages. These are just my opinions:

    - Default speed feels too slow. Maybe make the default speed #2 or so. There is almost no use for the super slow speed and I think it's always been a mistake of the gradius series to start the ship off so slow and helpless.
    - Invulnerability seems too short. In the fire-planet stage you can spawn in the center of a planet and die because you can't escape. This happened I think in the moai stage too when I couldn't see my ship. Upping the default speed would help solve this.
    - Some powerups spawn off the bottom of the screen if you kill an enemy while it is at the bottom.
    - You can fight from behind the 1-4 boss. He seems to be forward a bit too much.
    - Why is there a time limit?
    - When fully powered up, jack the rank up. 2 options with quad reflex lasers, ripple, and a force field and you are a god.
    - Lasers on the Moia heads? Evil ;)
    - It doesn't seem fair to allow the player to carry their full power-ups from one level to the next since they have individual high-score tables.
    - It seems the bounding box for your ship should be larger when colliding with power ups. Sometimes I fly right under them when I feel I should have grabbed them.


Excellent work on this. I can't wait to see some of the stages that people create.

I look forward to more updates on this game. It's quite fun. I didn't know you could change the scrolling rate - another interesting concept for score building.

You have change scroll speed with button 3 (default key are shift, but you can change in options menu) or put and mantain at left of screen for slow or right of screen for fast scroll speed.

I know I might be 10 years late, but I found about nemesis online just recently. I used to play this game in the end of 80s and beginning of the 90s. Lost following it with next consoles because of name change to Gradius.

Thank you very much for this huge efforts in making the game.

Anyway, I have few questions regarding this amazing Nemesis Online game:

- Can we save our work (where we got in the game in terms of finishing the stages, offline) to continue the work later on? Is it possible to have that option?
- Sometimes the game crashes, so I would appreciate if there is a way to save our work to avoid starting playing from beginning every time, since there are more than 70 stages already
- How can we get 4 options?
- Some of the bosses can not be hurt at all, is it a bug? like the casino night chaos. I tried a lot using different weapons. Also, what is the solution to beat Fire stage boss :)

Thanks for play.

I'm working in new engine for port my games to Android, iPhone, Mac and Linux.

- Game no save states, sorry.
- The game is a beta version, some bug not solved.
- In game type SuperMegaOptions and press RETURN key
- The stages have been made by the players themselves, some may not have configured a boss well.
