So, let's choose the next game.

I'll pick only home games this time, so we don't keep only playing arcade games. (And because of this, I'll keep it oldschool again.. I promise the next poll made by me won't be made only of oldschool :D)

If anyone needs help with emulators for those games, lemme know.

Also, if any of those games has any "score bug", also lemme know. I guess not, but I may be wrong.

Hmm, some good ones in there, I haven't decided yet.

One question though, if we play Soldier Blade, will we be playing the regular game, or the 3 or 5 minute score attacks?

Gun Nac. It's the only one there I have.

Regular game, that's what I had on mind.

Ramus, all those games are really easy to emulate.... the only one that can be troublesome is Apidya , because Amiga emulators aren't that simple, but I can give all the help you may need.

I almost voted for Apidya, but in the end Gynoug got my voice.

We should also make sure which version we are playing. Because sometimes the PAL, US or Japanese versions have different difficulties or other gameplay changes.

So give me suggestions.... I think Apidya was released only in Europe, so there's no problem.

And I've voted for Apidya.

I voted for Gun-Nac, because it's one I've always wanted to play but never gotten around to doing so. But I don't think it's gonna be the one unless it gets some quick support. Honestly, I'm starting school next week and don't know if I'll be able to participate much anymore anyway.

Some of these may be harder than others to compete in from an emulation point of view. Amiga emulators are hard to deal with (plus you need to locate WorkSomething roms). And I've had no luck with any of the PCE/TG16 emulators (and ended up actually purchasing MagicEngine).

I don't know a good PC-Engine Emu, too.
Any free emulator you can recommend, Shatterhand?

There is HUGO, but it's always been a POS to me. I've never gotten a good configuration to work.

Have tried to play with Hugo in the past and it didn't work so well, but I guess I'll just try out a new version.

Nice Signature, Tomtom.

I have just taken another slonganizer banner for a German forum, because I doubt many people here will understand it.

I use an old version of Magic Engine that came in a CD I got like... 8 years ago.

It does the job for me.

Hey Shatterhand, I'll make the next poll, but it's going to take me a day or so. Don't worry. it will be up soon. :)

Hey everyone, just start playing Soldier Blade (or whatever it's called) and Shatterhand will make the high score board eventually. Shatterhand and I are doing the scores every other week and Edge is doing the rankings.

I have tried a Trial Version of Magic Engine and I instantly fall in love with it. The emulation is really smooth and the menus are pretty simple. :)

After I searched a bit I've found found Magic Engine 0.99 b5 (full version).

So, I could upload it too. If you are interested or are running an older version.

EDIT:
Also updated the shmeet rankings, have a look at them.
