Shmups at Core Gamer Treff Germany Moenchengladbach NRW

Hello everyone,

I have rented a shop in the centre of my city to bring people together playing video games.
Now I am trying to host events, tournaments and meetups with different kinds of gaming communities.
Shoot em Ups have always had a place in my heart and I enjoy playing them a lot even though I am not really too good at them.

I would like to ask you if there are shmup fans in my area (Germany Moenchengladbach) or close by who would like to get together and play or even help me host a bigger shmup meetup maybe for a whole weekend in the future.

I know this is a very small community but maybe I am lucky and there are people close by who would like to meet up and play shmups together.

Is there any meetups i Denmark, Sweden, Norway or northen Germany?

Our first meetup was a blast, we met Plasmo and he showed us shmup noobs how to play these games more seriously. We are now a smaller group of shmup enthusiasts and meet up on a monthly or biweekly basis.
The next shmupmeet will be on the 15th March.
In the future we may also host a two day shmupmeet to attract shmup players from outside of germany if there is an interest for that.
We also stream a bit of the gameplay from time to time.

Is there any meetups i Denmark, Sweden, Norway or northen Germany?

Sweden seems to have a lot of private meetups, especially in the Stockholm area.

Here in Denmark there's nothing specifically shooter related, outside of the rare occasional private gathering with a more general video game focus.

I'm curious whether and when you'll organize a meeting in April. I will stay in Düsseldorf for some days from this weekend and it would be great if I could drop by.

This month's meeting is on wednesday the 17th of april starting at 5 pm.

There won't be dedicated shmup meetups at Core Gamer Treff anymore because it has shown that it is to hard to negotiate fixed dates with this tiny community. Therefore anybody who enjoys shmups is more than welcome to join the Core Gamer Treff on any other day that it's open.
There will always be at least two people who enjoy playing shmups with you.
