Bee Storm! Was so close to a 1CC on that (can't beat the TLB...). Sure, bring some games, Deathsmiles would be rad. Skip the streaming setup for now cause that is a lot of stuff for you to have to carry!

Thank you everyone for coming out, was great to see new faces! I am so happy the hori cab is now looking super amazing and was able to get a proper test run.

Next meet we'll be having a SUPER VS SHMUP TOURNAMENT! Consisting of either Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream, Phantasmagoria of Flower View, or Change Air Blade (whatever we feel like at the time). Because VS shmups are *amazing*.

Many thanks for hosting yet another awesome meet! Had a fantastic time as always! I had no idea that VS. shmups could be so much fun and that there existed a good DOS shmup! It was also really awesome to play Garegga 2016 and Mr. Gimmick! Two games that I really want to get now lol (think I might settle for a repro of Mr. Gimmick though considering the price, not sure).

Since the hori is working now, I'm considering bringing a kick-harness and Hyper SF2 next time (or I could bring Dash or 2X instead if you guys want, I think those are better from a competitive standpoint but Hyper is a lot of fun) but not sure if you guys would be up for it. Let me know. If not, then I could bring Deathsmiles MBL instead, that's another good one Lvl 999 is really fun.

Okay, so, my weekend plans fell through and my Saturday tomorrow currently consists of playing video games so if anyone's in the area and wants to hang out, you're more than welcome to pop by in the afternoon.

Wiring's been sorted out too the monitor adjustment now gets to live under the control panel and I don't have to plug in the monitor separately. I just need to get a new fluorescent bulb for the light, and then I'll pop that cover back on, woo!



Both of those sound cool. I've never had the chance to actually try a 6 button game on the cab, and I've not had any actual shmups in it yet (though rotating it for DOUBLE FUTARI is tempting).

Would love to come out but I managed to get really sick while I was out running last Sunday and I'm still not feeling well

April will be the month of DOUBLE SHMUPS since I now have a shmup for the hori cab (but I mean hey, switch it out for a puzzle game that's cool too).

I felt super rusty with God Mode though, pretty sure that's because I haven't done any full runs in about a month or so, been doing only Larsa in Training Mode. Need to remind myself to mixup Training Mode with full runs every once in a while

In case anyone cares, I'm not dead or anything - we've just been renovating the main floor and redecorating. I'll try and host something again soon!
