Parades aren't really my thing, and also what better way to celebrate?

So, pew pew pew

(and yes I'm well aware Canada Day isn't actually the anniversary of its independence which is technically April 17, 1982)

Btw, anyone want some free stuff? I have some duplicates that I've been meaning to sell for a while now but I just never seem to get around to it... If you guys just want something for a particular systems then I'd rather that you take all of the stuff for the system in question. I'd like to get rid of it all, it's just taking up space... I didn't really like the Hori Fighting Sticks (they support both MD and SFC) so those are also up for grabs, I have the box for one of them.

I would be interested in Sonic R and Space Channel 5 at the very least, so if nobody else is super interested in the other games from those consoles I would super appreciate the Saturn and Dreamcast stuff!

Space Channel 5 is totally amazing and that reminds me to pick up a PS2 copy eventually.

The Genesis games would be cool to have! I know colour_thief probably would like Steel Empire too so worse comes to worse I'll flip a coin with him for it.

Awesome! Thanks guys, I'll bring the genesis, dreamcast and saturn games to the meet! Let me know if anyone wants some of the other stuff, I'd be happy to get rid of it.

Btw, did we nail a date yet for the meet?

Many thanks for hosting another awesome meet! I had a fantastic time as always! The new setup was really nice. Many thanks for the snacks and drinks etc. as well. It was super cool to try out Night Raid and Psyvariar Revision! I really want to get a Taito G-Net board now lol. I also had a really good time playing Super R-Type and Firepower 2000! The nostalgia was too strong! And many thanks to Khoa for the ride, that was much appreciated!

Next one's gonna be a couple weeks from now on a Sunday, July 16th. Since it's a Sunday and folks need to get home earlier, people are welcome anytime after 10:30 AM. And if you can't make it, no worries!

Many thanks for hosting! Had a really good time as always! Was really nice to see how to properly play Judgement Silversword. Mega Man 2.5D co-op was incredible! Such a good time! The choke on that spike section on the Wily stage was absolutely unreal though lol.

Glad you were able to make it out! Sorry it wasn't a 1CC - on a good day I can sometimes make it to the TLB but the clear is not quite there for me...

Oh my gosh, Mega Man 2.5D in coop is too hilarious, I died so many times not paying attention when I was looking at you. xD

I know we said we'd do Streets of Rage but next time I guess :p

What weekend would work best for hanging out next time? Thinking either the 12th or 19th.

The 19th works better for me too actually, so let's do that!

You all know the drill. Show up whenever, play video games, etc. If someone can bring Aqua Rush that'd be super cause I am in need of my Aqua Rush fix.

Khoa, how long did your Judgement Silversword Special Mode clear take to nab? Cause I'm getting destroyed by E3 and its attacks are heartbreakingly cruel.

It took quite a while (probably a week from start) because E3's second form was absolutely brutal and I figure that if I can just do better at all the other bosses (no-miss), then I'll have more lives going into E3, meaning more leg room to finish it off.

I wished I saw this thread sooner. Unfortunately I've already made plans this weekend to host a meet at my house for rhythm game related stuff so I guess I'll see you next time.

Many thanks for hosting, had a fantastic time as always! Congrats on the clear, was awesome to see it live! Gesen Love + Pengo is always a great time, had lots of fun playing that. Thanks for showing Mega Man 8! Had a really good time playing it. It exceeded my expectations and the voice acting was certainly memorable lol.
