360-in-a-cab is go I think, but no schedule nailed down. The 360 would replace Ikaruga starting Saturday sometime. I have all the Cave 360 games, though we are limited to the ones that use three buttons. I suppose DOJ, SDOJ, and Ketsui would work well.

I do not own Eschatos though.

We might need a VGA gender changer for the 360...I still have to check but if you got one, bring it just in case.

I load up the cabs tonight, everything looks good! I swapped out two monitors for better ones for everyones viewing pleasure. Fixed up the Naomi sticks for the 360/Ikaurga setup. I'll be setting up Thursday afternoon in case folks are wondering around.

Looks like there will be 4 more candy coming, but they will be running fighters. It's gonna be a sweet setup, 20 candy cabs all in a row.

There's probably a pretty good chance I'll be wandering around magfest for at least 2 of the days. And by that I mean 'playing games'. I'll just awkwardly stand around until I recognize someone.

Behold.....

I'm here to bring PCBs and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of bubblegum.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

So folks that are here at MAGFest prolly figured out the planned schedule is a little off. We are trying to get back on pace to show all the lesser attendees all the lovely shmups.

Zakk -> cool, well get Pro and Let's going when you get here, just track me down.

113 Arcade Hall photos that I took including a good majority of what I saw. Some non-arcades are here and Pinballs were also in the hall. I also played a cocktail cab in the far corner that was the only one on next to a Crane machine Tournament. Shit doens't get hyper.

I have some photos up (fact-check me if I got some blurry photos wrong--my iPad was easier to whip out than my camera and I figured they'd be just as blurry either way)

Had a lot of fun at this! Was playing lots of Mushihime Original and Esp.Rade for the most part so if you saw one kid on these machines for quite a while it was probably me. When I was jumping from cab to cab I also watched a player (I think KOA was his name?) 1CC maniac on mushihimesama which blew me away and got me interested in trying to do it myself

It was also really refreshing to get to meet some of you. Got a chance to talk to Aquas and Majors for a bit and discuss some shmup ideas. Having met a few people off of this site now really makes the shmups scene seem a bit more real once you meet actual people that are into it in person

Thanks to everyone who brought out cabs/boards/etc...I had a blast and am definitely already considering going next year!

Thanks for everyone helping out with boards. Glad we can show off some games to the MAGFest attendees. Good talking to folks, regardless of how drunk I was. I may not be on the play level of you guys, but I love to showcase the goods(plus STG's look so good on candy!)

Scheduling fail aside, at least nothing broke or got lost. Just need to tighten up them sticks.

Always a pleasure providing games for such wonderful cabinets. I'm going to be busting my ass trying to get Gradius 4 back up so we can play the shit out of it next year.
