By the way, regarding the X68000, I read that if you plug the output directly into D2 VGA port on the back (and make sure
the sync setting is set to "separate" in the XRGB-3 menu and the "low pass filter" is disabled), it will actually work correctly
and output the full screen without chopping the bottom of the screen. I have an extra XRGB-3 that can be used, so I might want to try that.

sure, that would be cool to check out.

Oh Papa_November, if you could bring your floppies so we have more games to play that would be cool too. And if you have any extra blank floppies you wanna get rid of I want to get my hands on a few more :)

Oh yeah, got your PM, alamone. I plan to attend. I'll get some ice cream again but maybe two quarts instead of three.

Someone will likely take home more snacks than they brought in again. :)

I have an early meeting that day till 10 if anyone wants to get breakfast or kill time in the south bay before the meet let me know. I do not plan to drive back and forth for no reason.

Also, do we have any beer drinkers? I can bring something quality to share.

Looks like I won't be able to make this one after all   so no X68000 PRO this time. I'll make sure to bring it to the next.

I'll have a beer if you bring some.

One more setup is added, two player Outzone (two SNES pads with rapid fire) on the 14 inch PVM.
Since the X68000 will be MIA, the 24" XRGB-3 MVS setup will be swapped out for any guest setups.
Right now it is running two player Twinkle Star Sprites.

See everyone soon.

Lifeforce is out of commission due to developing stuck inputs, looks like a common problem with this PCB.
I've ordered some replacement optocouplers and logic chips but I will swap in another PCB in the meantime, Raycrisis.

Thanks again Al for hosting. Another tremendous lineup! It was really awesome to see Ninja Warriors on its original hardware!

Good to see the usual crowd and visually awesome displays of gaming. Just a sweet all around meet up and again thanks to Alamone for all his tireless efforts in prepping amazing setups, switching out his diverse library, and being an all around great guy!

Sincerely,

Mikhail

Thanks to alamone for hosting! It was a pleasure to attend, as always.

Also, thanks to papa_november for bringing the Apple IIGS -- it was great to relive some childhood gaming memories with the Arkanoid port. :)

Yeah, thanks again, alamone, for hosting this meet! I had fun playing Darius Burst: AC and the music games again. Meets like these keep me interested in shmups, even if I couldn't find the time to play them these days.
