Would definitely be interested in another northeast meetup; was sad to miss the last one. It's not much but can bring a ps2 with gradius V.

Whats up guys, I'm over in Spfld., MA. Not sure if you guys noticed this convention coming up. Should be a good time, will be my first experience of a small scale con, as opposed to a PAX east.

I could come by this weekend. Also, how popular is GU nowadays at the new location? Think we could have a meet up there sometime?

Great, waiting to hear back from a few more people about this saturday.

So far it’s just ECZang, K-2, me and you... waiting to hear back from And-such-is-Life and Electric Groovaloo.

I’ve heard good things about Game Underground, meaning to check it out now that I am on break.

Yesterday was a lot of fun, just about everything went smoothly despite the humidity and lack of AC.
Thanks Ratikal for the cupcakes (I am eating some right now for breakfast) and cookies!

The lineup went something like:

Megadrive: SF2:Special Champion ed (with my childhood relic MAS stick), DBZ, Twinkle Tale, and Eliminate Down
Saturn: Battle Garegga, Batsugun
Super Neo 29: KoF98, Breakers, Kizuna Encounter
Blast City(yoko): KoF02, Magician Lord, Magical Drop 3
Blast City(vert): FutariBL(360), Eschatos(360), DOJ PGM
Astro City: Dimahoo, Sorcer Striker, Mushihimesama (until stage 2, then colors went wonky)

Oh! and how could I forget:

Super Mario Bros on NES and gun nac.

Until next time guys, hopefully a few more attendees get a chance to make it out here!

Hey guys, considering doing one more before we’re all snowed in and hibernating for the winter.
Not sure when, sure starting to put the word out.

super late post go!

So the Exceleena 2 that's there is mine. It has an easily tateable monitor. I also have two superguns that can accommodate PS3/360 sticks, a 360, a PC with infinity doujins and other full releases, and a PVM. I have a fair amount of boards, and I know others do as well. We could make it happen.

So, I'm thinking about having a gettogether at Game Underground in Natick this Sunday (11/1). I have a tateable cab on site already, as well as two superguns and PVMs, and a bunch of boards. People could bring whatever consoles/boards/etc. they want. Halloween hangovers be damned? Let me know if you could potentially make it.

I can't believe I have to be permabanned from that place D:> now no one's gonna know that I'm actually OK at retro games and not a typical modern-day teen gamer.

So I'll probably save this for when everyone has a bit more notice - I just got some extra work to do on Sunday. But it will happen at some point in the near future. I was speaking to one of the owners tonight and they said they would like to play one of the TGMs so that would be a good fit.
