I've got a horrible shitty workaround way we could ...

I could bring my 22" TATE LCD, supergun, and my VGA converter ... I think the results will be epically bad but it might be fun to try lol

Ok so someone PM me with the address and what time this shindig gets started.

Hopefully not too late? I'm old and I have to work the next day, so I don't want to make it a late night lol

I think it's doable. Display is tri-mode with a VGA connector.

Moh, you want to swing by my place before to meet to help me move the monitor? It's not super heavy, but the frame is weak and it'd be nice to have a hand getting it in the car. I'll probably bring my JP 360 as well as I have a lot of the JP DLC on it. Including Futari 1.01.

Hmm I'm just thinking though ... my supergun only has composite and s-video output, so how would we get that into the arcade monitor? Unless the monitor has a JAMMA pass-through connector of some kind?

Yeah that might be a problem. I'll see if I have a suitable normal CRT display as well. Worst case I can run a second import 360 on it or maybe Theif's Supergun.

I'd be down for another 360 setup. Lots of games on there I haven't really played, like AK, DFK, Eschatos, Otomedius, etc.

Unfortunately because I don't own a 360, it's pretty much the only system I don't have an arcade stick for

Ok I haven't heard from brendz yet whether he's on for Sunday ... made arrangements to pick up Udderdude though.

I'm thinking I gotta load up my iPod in the car with OSTs

So far I've got:

Crimzon Clover
DDP DOJ/Ketsui
DDP SDJ/DDP Maximum
Einhander
Karous
Futari
Rez (HELLZ YEAH)
R-Type Final

Also have some other random chip/FM stuff, like Misfit Chris, yogurtbox and zabutom :)))))))))))))

It's either that, or non-stop Deeper Shades of House podcasts 8)

Oh hey, I'm a dope about the time change and whatnot. I thought we were getting an extra hour Sunday night, but it's actually on Saturday night. So if anyone feels like getting here Sunday at 11am (old noon time) I'm sure I'll be awake and shmupping.

My supergun doesn't do VGA either, sadly. So it sounds like it would only be good as an upgrade to my small CRT at the secondary X360 station.

Ok so here's what I'm packing up to bring tomorrow:

- Street Fighter Alpha 2 CPS2
- Marvel Super Heroes CPS2
- Supergun w/power supply + joystick

Don't think I can bring my monitor out for the vert setup, my wife needs it to stay attached to the computer

Once we know that, what time do you want to swing by to help me load stuff?

Unfortunately we couldn't get NITD, but I do have Blazing Star and Samurai Shodown III. I'll toss them in my bag along with my MVS.

Can you imagine how awesome it'd be if an actually good company made a shmup-themed party game?

I honestly can't remember who made that game (I think colour_thief told me and I forgot); I assumed it was a low budget dev team thing.

Also, what the heck is up with the autofire only being present on the first level? When we were messing around in 3P, autofire only lasted the first level.
