Paris in July?

Hi,
A friend and I are going to Paris for vacation with our better halves a week in July.
Where are the good places to go in Paris to play Shmups?
I remember to have read something about weekly meetings on Thursdays somewhere in Paris? Is that still there and is it open to public?

I don't live in Paris though, so I don't know about regular meetings.

If you are coming in early July you must come to Japan Expo, it's pretty huge and crazy, there is an arcade stand with shmups and we French shmuppers usually have a shmupmeet in the middle of it. I might go again this year.

I only recommend going to Arcade Street. We can try to organize for a big event with the game center's owner for adding a lot of shmup. Also look out for events here : http://forum.shmup.com/viewforum.php?f=27

The shop is always open. I go there sometimes.
The owner, régis, is cool. Maybe a communication problem. Try to call him.
