a new "underground" styled arcade appeared. it's mainly fight. buuuut the shmups are coming... presence is short at this moment. it seems that 4 setups will be present (maybe more but it's dreaming time). it's central in paris south, 75011 (station Nation) ,easy from RER/subways. (sounds like Casino goodge ambiance could come in )

Looks good. Now I just need one in Brussels. Nothing in this country as far as I'm aware. Just the generic big machines in a couple of seaside resorts, no shoot'em ups.

the only belgium good spot is private and mostly with dedicated ! (including a future... Galaxian 3 )

you like french attitude it seems (matra ), i'm not that clothed styled, i wasn't there -> holidays near spain. it's "mozlamoz" , stylished shmuppper (4 japanese cabs), "A-M" is the hat man at left, and one good extremist is at right , "mumuladkos" (4 japanese cabs too), a fun guy and ex specialist in urban street

sven and any buddies (emphatic, sinho, ....) (and if some london fanatics want to come ; come !) you are welcome to stay a weekend (i live at 5minutes subway from the arcade, my place is not that big but i's cool place : living in "Vincennes", it's castle, it's forest, it's tranquility...) and we would arrange meeting and seeing parisian french shmuppers . for the other aspects of paris day/night lifestyle, it's up to you

For now, the paris'shmuppers took thursday for meeting day.

aha thought it was you, its been a few years since we met so cant remember exactly what you look like, who knows how people change.

It's been a long time since I didn't post in these forums, but I'll gladly come to an potential event to meet you guys.

word is on. . okay sven & london crew. i'll try (and hope french killlllers of shmups will try too to meet) to make for all of us a good remembrance.

little fun promo there (on a special tv channel dedicated to "otaku" culture, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD7eAMXrk2o )...if you remember "Alex pilot" with his french documentary on shmups, it's him behind the camera

this arcade is fight at best for essential. you can meet there very good fighters. and the games are up to date : super street fighter 4, blazblue, sf 3.3 A, etccc.

heavy rumors are that the quantity of cabs will evolve, especially in the underground part (plenty of space)... future months will prove if some other shmups appear... let's hope that some "casino goodge" swap of games can be done too in the future for some arranged meetings,

but it will seem our honor too for special guests, for a weekend to show you some other things (retrogaming, a street with 8-9 games shops, ...) and continue the evenings somewhere, we are some to have 2-4 cabs at home and shmups jamma good choices)

International meetings are extremely cool and we should organize more of them. So if you guys from England are doing a group visit to Paris I'll be sure to make the trip for the week end (I'm in southern France).

If you want a proper demo all I need is a laptop computer or some setup that I can plug my keyboard in ! DDP PCB is always fun to try out but not nearly as good for demo purposes. I'd like to see if I could 2-ALL with a stick though lol @_@ (I think it would be very tough, can get 2-ALL quite often with keyboard though)

thursday evening, they managed some "swap" for shmup games.

for the 2 dedicated TATE cabs,

Ketsui & Espgaluda were running.

next thursday evening, rumors are on : Mushihime futari BL & DDP DFK .

and february for new improvements in matter of quantity of cabs...?!

the sessions continue, they played DDP DFK, Muchi pork last thursday. the new setups will arrive soon (it's still rumors but it talks about : more japanese cabs, pinballs, cocktail tables, european cabs).. among some rumors one is : a "Cave corner" ...

so Paris is paris, sometimes magic comes, at 10minutes train from paris north, we participated saturday, to a fun arcade party at "Tortue" place, (12 cabs with 25" screen + 2 sega twins (daytona1 + nascar !), next week arrives : Sega rally 2

were there some fellas from shmup forum (mumuladkos, olisan, dracoel, ...) and others to play :

Raiden fighters jet, V-V, Ketsui, Dimahoo, Mazinger Z, mushihime sama futari black label, twinkle star sprites, 19XX, rtype leo, last duel, ghox, batrider, ecofighters, 60 in1, ...

every thurday 6pm-9pm you could meet some shmuppers from the french forum, shmup.com.

for tortue, it's a private arcade collector, 10mn train north of Paris (Asnieres). perhaps if dates of a new party come in mid-march, you could see it by yourself

first time in for me, it's cozy, it's warmed, it's underground, there were this time about 8 regular parisian shmuppers for reunion, they played : mushihime futari BL, rtype Leo, batrider., little after 6 left, a young blonde girl put some coins for good little games in mushi BL
