I'm normally out in Boston, but working in San Jose for the summer.
I would love to stop in and say hi while I'm in town.

Sounds great i will definitely bring my PS2 Messiah modded and some PSX side scrollers and shmups. I not too sure about bringing my bare PC though with shmup Dojin's preinstalled, it will be a hassle. Since we probably need to change video settings and some other stuff. well Dave_K let me know, anyway i think everyone is going to be playing Mushi and other games. I personally am looking forward to playing some Demon Front and Ketsui and some others. this is going to be a great shmupmeet for shurz.

HOLLAR

Unfortunally Bangai-O is not VGA compatible so it won't play in my Namco Cab, but it will play on the large monitor if I run it through the XRGB-2+.

Yeah, I think we have to many other good shooters to play at the moment to really try out more of the dojin shooters. Have you tried out that new Hitogata Happa mentioned in the main chat forum? Unfortunally it doesn't display right on my laptop's cheap graphic chipset. :(

Hey Dave,

What games will be in rotation in each of the arcade cabinets? And for the VGA monitor? I'll be posting a list of the games available in this thread's first post.

Definately bring the sticks. Would you happen to have a PS2->DC converter? And don't worry I'll cover you for the pizza!

PS2 to DC or DC to PS2?

I have 2 converters to use Playstation joysticks on the Dreamcast. I don't think they exist vise versa.

I'll bring em...Anything else, let me know...

I'll bring chips(can't beat the variety pack :) ) and 2-liter sodas.

And I can only imagine playing TSS: LPP on the 36".

If everything works out, pixelcorps, two of my friends and I will be ringing Dave's bell around 9:30.

Hi everyone, I apoloigise for doing this, but it looks like I'll have to postpone the shmupmeet, as my girlfriend had signed us up for white water rafting next weekend and forgot to tell me. :? I know 8.5 is unavailable the following weekend, so what do people think about the last weekend in August? Again sorry I didn't realize this earlier in the week when we settled on the 14th.

Again, don't worry about me (though I appreciate it). I could still make it Sunday of the following weekend as I'm going to CGE on Saturday.

Have fun rafting!

You have to come. I want to see more DDPDOJ magic. You know I'll never beat that score you saved on my PS2! And I'm sure it wasn't your best. :D

Ok then so how does Sunday the 21st sound to people?

I will bring four DC pads and play some four players Giga Wing 2 and watch it slow to a crawl. Someone's gotta take a pic of it. I could bring a modded DC if it's needed.

Even though I can't make it. If you still want to check out Dolphin Blue, I can drop it off before I leave on my trip.

Dave has my full trust and I wouldn't have a problem dropping it off for you guys to check it out. I will be traveling between 8-17-05 and 8-22-05 so as long as we can work out something prior to the 17th no prob. If I can get my Aero to shoot green again before then; I could leave the cab if it'd help you guys keep playing. If not then just the AW board and cart.
