Hey guys, new to the board, but not Tampa. Have not been playing Shmups for too long, but I'm pretty big into fighters. Have a JP and US 360, been playing alot of Deathsmiles IIX lately and about to start Ketsui. Very envious of the setups you guys have!

I'm right behind the St. Pete Times Forum/by Channelside in South Tampa. If ya'll ever need free parking for a concert or are just going to Channelside, I'd be happy to have ya! Just send me a PM.

accepted. how can you be awful at marvel? it's the easiest fighting/shooting game there is.

I lived there for a year (2008), at Post Harbour Place. It is an awesome location. Were you there there the whole time? I had my Egret in the apartment, we could have played.

Anyway, I have a vacation to St Pete Beach planned for the first 2 weeks of Aug, but it might be covered in oil. If we go anyway I'll be looking for something else to do. Shmups?

I'm moving in the near future and already have the JP360 packed, i'll be up to play in a month or so.

Also whoever introduced/linked me to The VillageBBS (i want to say antron)...I don't know weather to thank or damn you. I am 5K poorer and 5 pins richer after being reintroduced to a long forgotten hobby.

bump. i've sorta fell out of the loop lately with shooters. been hooked on dance and fighting games for a while now. but if there's any new people in the area who like any of this jazz, bring the heat!!!

Sup guys I'm in Tampa. I've been lurking on here a bit. It's cool seeing other people are in the area! I have 2 astro cabs with mame and older consoles, PCE and stuff. Would love to hang and play some games. One astro cab is stuck in the house but the other is more or less mobile if needed for a massive meet up

Im new to the forum but I'm from Tampa too! I have a bunch of systems including a PCE and a Japanese Saturn. I'll be at Tampa Never Sleeps 4 on sunday. Im surprised how many people we have from Tampa on here!

Haha I agree with you and Akeem on the MVC2 vs UMVC3 debate. Akeem is actually in Japan right now hopefully getting me a Saturn while I hold his hostage haha.
