Hello there, I´ve been to the Casino today. It is pretty cool for fighting game fans, but the STGs on the stand up cabs are barely playable as they are so difficult to handle. (at least for me)

Playing Progear was fun though. :)
What happened to the newer games like Ketsui or Pink Sweets???

By the way, the Dark Knight pinball machine is waiting for its legs...
(yeah, I like playing pinball too)

It all rotates around and moves about. Sometimes you'll go in and something new will have suddenly appeared.

And yeah - those stand-up woodie cabs are a pain. I'd love them to get stools in there like at the Troc.

Anyway, always post up here when you might be down there or keep an eye out for posts about days people will be down. What's nice about Casino is the people there and the atmosphere when it's a little busier...

Well, they appear because I put them in, with the help of ill6 and ARC.

Of course! Didn't mean to demean your great efforts by suggesting things had just 'appeared'!

Absolutely - count me in, Casino needs a team and we're the ones to make it!

Skykid, RupertH, Taylor and the rest of you who aren't already in long established teams - any of you in?

That I'm not so sure about! The idea of me as a captain seams rather laughable.

Why not your good self RGC!?

Go on ill6 - get involved!

I'll take a look at signing-up tonight after work.

Your higher post-count qualifies you :P Just kidding, but you do seem generally more active here than me, plus everyone loves ya. Thought you might jump at the chance?

Without wishing to have to scroll up - am I supposed to go and register somewhere for something?

Edit... or not I guess... I looked in the other forum and don't know if I did it right but I think I registered for the competition (or something)...

I can lend casino some boards some of the weeks if I am not here; that might strengthen my piss poor case for entry.

What the hell... count me in. I'll bring my skills (or lack thereof) to the table.

You'll have some serious competition from me when it comes to bringing the team down.

Registered.

It's the taking part that counts as far as my skills are concerned, but I'm really up for this.

Could do with it starting in a few weeks though!

Well, my little plan to coerce spadgy into team captaincy sure backfired!

We should probably treat this as an internal comp; our ranking within STG08 can be viewed as an amusing side effect. :D

i would be expecting DEL to take the reins, unless he already has a top tier team to join...

and thanks to everyone who came to BOD regardless of the shmup absence.

Really impressed by BOD Masamune - a really professional event that gave me faith in the UK arcade scene, and good fun to. I missed day two as I came of my skateboard on Saturday night and was limping about the house all Sunday...

Thanks to you and everybody involved.

With regards to DEL and the Casino team, I'm pretty sure DEL is in a top tier team - if not we need him! DEL?

Also, DEL - that Trigon board I put a £5 bid on? It went for £10! Bargain - I could have had that!

Well I joined up; this should be interesting.

Also, someone finally fixed the C-buttons on the Mushihimesama cab . Thanks to DEL on that one.

It's great being dead. People leave you alone.
You also smell funny, decompose, and start to attract flies after a few hours.
