A PS1 Boot Disc that allows you to play PAL games?...WTF??..

This is hard for me to believe. Then again, maybe it shouldn't be, seeing as how you can play PAL Dreamcast games with a DC-X.

It says that PAL discs can be converted using utilities. That probably means that you can patch an image to force it to run in 60 Hz. I have done the same with Sega CD games, with moderate success.

there is a PS1 boot CD that can play Pal games in 60hz. The guy developing it released the image as freeware for anybody to burn it, but for those unable to do that, the CD can also be bought.
