Third party Saturn pads + converter for MAME?

Post by Frederik »

I wanted to order another one of those Saturn rebuild pads, but seemingly Lik-Sang went out of stock. Then I saw those third-party Saturn pads and I am thinking about ordering a bunch of them since they are really cheap and some people review them quite positively. I am talking about those:

Oh and they got Turbo functions which would save me a lot of stress for my hands on extended DoDonpachi and ESPrade sessions.

I am going to use them with MAME, so has anyone any experience with third party saturn pads? I had very bad experiences with third party controllers in the past, but I remember seeing this "Super8" controller on someones website and he claimed that this was the ULTIMATE controller for fighting games (and this means the same goes for shmups).

And why are those pads so extremely cheap? Do they want to get rid of them?

Probably warehouses full of them.

I have two super pad 8's. I bought them to hack, but they don't use common grounds.

You can have them if you pay shipping from memphis TN 38103.

I am sorry, but what does that mean? English is my second language

So have you played them then? Are they any good? And thanks for your offer, but I am ordering some other things from Lik-Sang anyways. :)

if you want to solder wires onto the contact pads, you need to make lots of "ground" wires.
