Wells Gardner RGB monitors.

Post by neorichieb1971 »

Is it possible to fit a female SCART to one of these -

Then use your consoles on it via official SCART leads?

And i'm wondering if these monitors have the stretch, shrink, RGB pots that candy cabinets have also.

Thanks.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Yes. The only modification you'll need to make is a small LM1881N circuit to stip the composite sync out of the composite video fed by the SCART cable. There's a great guide here:

Follow the Saturn2JAMMA guide. With a female SCART plug and that guide you'll essentially make a generic SCART2JAMMA system (which incidentally is something I'm halfway through building as I type - hopefully I'll have mine ready by the weekend).

I can't say for certain with this particular model, but having seen thousands of different RGB monitors over the last few years, I'd be very surprised if it didn't have all the standard adjustments.
