CRT Emudriver Progressive Scan

Post by DotMatrixMoe »

Hello, I'm using an RGB modded consumer television (KV-27S42), and by default the driver switches to 480i. I want to switch it to 240p, but it seems to spaz out (possibly being out of range). Does anyone have an idea of how I can solve this? I use the default Generic 15khz preset.

Maybe use ArcadeOSD to mess with the horizontal or vertical porches and test.

It's under horizontal/vertical geometry

Now 240p will display, but it doesn’t cover the whole TV. I was thinking it might be under geometry too, but no significant change was made. What do you think. Completes the TV vertically but not horizontally.

Just keep playing with it till it looks as good as it can. There are only a few options in there. You could also try messing with the pixel frequency.

Fixed it! Really does look like one of those PVMs. Appreciate your help, turned out I had to countinue adjusting horizontal geometry.
