I'm happy to say that I now own a 27 inch Sony Trinitron, KV-27S42 to be exact. Being from the late 90s, it looks absolutely gorgeous, and the scanlines are really pronounced. I do not regret the 4 hour drive + 15 dollar purchase. After cleaning it, it was in an excellent condition, no plastic chipping, no dulling, just minor scratches. The seller also mentioned that they used it as a bedroom TV for about 2 years and stopped using it... which explains why the tube still looks vibrant. No remote, but luckily I'm a Sony freak. I have plenty Sony remotes around the house that actually work on it! I'll pull up a convergence pattern later in the replies, though I barely noticed any geometry nor linearity problems.

RGB MOD FOLLOWUP
Now that I have an OSD mux moddable television, I'll complete that mod, and then neckboard mod the other television mentioned in my last post (General Electronics 20GT612). For scientific reasons, I kind of want to see a comparison in terms of quality in person.
