How do you erase game data on the GC Game Boy Player??....

OK, so I got a copy of Super Mario DX last night, and there are already saved games on it-I know you can erase game data on a Game Boy, GBC, and GBA, but how in the world do you do it on the Game Boy Player?? I hit Z and brought up the options menu, but could find no way to do this. Any advice would be appreciated.

The data is saved on the GBA cartridge itself, it has nothing to do with the GameBoy Player. Look up a FAQ for the game itself and see if there's any way to erase the save file.
