Hmm, haven't thought about that but yeah, it does make sense to compare MiSTer with other clone systems / emulators. Regarding issue of authenticity, I sometimes struggle with common usage. I think this quality is binary. You either have the real deal, or you don't. I'd suppose a grey area may exist when you start modding original consoles in ways that radically deviate from it's official form factor and/or function, performance (e.g. overclocking, etc.).
