What type of connector is used to input SDI video into PVM/BVMs/any other professional crt monitors?
It looks like just regular BNC connectors, but I'm asking just to be sure before spending money.

It is indeed just BNC connectors, yep. The circuitry on the board is what's important, not the connector.
Would go for a RG-6 BNC cable, myself (were I to ever use SDI). RG-59 is also plenty fine too.
