Sun were not particuarly imaginative with their product names. When they rebranded other peoples gear they just normally copy/pasted it. (Source - I used to work at Sun)
For example my Sun-GDM-5410 is (surprise surprise) a rebranded Sony GDM-5410
IBM on the other hand - it was like some kind of state secret. I bet they used to pay someone to file off the serial numbers...
Anyhoo, you can look yours up in this table here without too much fuss.
Sun part number, Sun model name, OEM model name

My sun is also a gdm-5410. If yours is like ours, there is a rear plastic shroud that comes off pretty easily. Remove it to expose a metal cage and the product sticker complete with model number (and also to expose the interface connector for tuning).
I ran windas on windows 7. Couldnt actually get it working in xp.
