Excite bike intro correct audio?

[Syntax]

I was playing around with a copy of Excite Bike for NES and found that if you do a few fast resets the intro audio changes from the stock boingy sounding one to an in tune one (and then an even more out of tune boingy one)

Tested on pal and ntsc front and top loaders, bootleg and original carts. All do the same.

Here's an old thread, but Trax is still active on the forums. Probably easiest to ask someone that has already done a partial (maybe completed?) disassembly.
