Raiden IV Steam No Music Windows 10

Hi

Has anyone else experienced this,? Sound effects are fine but no music.

Tried compatibility windows Xp/7/8/Vista but didn't work.

Some stabs in the dark:

1) You've disabled music in the game settings. You really should have mentioned if you checked this or not.

2) Steam has an option to verify integrity of game files. Use it.

3) Try restarting your computer. Important to use "Restart", not "Shut down". Check your uptime in task manager to see if you've done it correctly.

4) Try going to control panel and disabling all other sound devices than the one you want to use.

5) Try different sampling rates for your sound card.

6) If you have Windows N Edition, install the media feature pack.

This seemed to get my sound working but now my video is choppy

Think ill just play the 360 version , steam one is too much hassle.

Nvidia card? Maybe try turning the overlay off? Display settings could be affecting it too. "Optimal Power" is often the default, but I found "Adaptive" to work better.

It's an R7 240 ATI.

I've actually got a Taito X version working via Jconfig.

Seems to be working perfectly, steam can be an odd platform sometimes.

The game requires some old VC++ redistibutables installation, specifically the VC++ SP1 (2010). After installing, you should be ok.
