Hey guys... Hoping for some input on what I might be able to do to remedy this issue with my PVM...
The PVM only appears to flicker on games with very bright & light colors (like SMB3 or Wai Wai World 2), *but* after leaving the PVM on for a while it behaves ok and I can play these games without issue. I’ve also noticed that adjusting the brightness/contrast knobs down to their lowest settings on the front can stop the flickering.
My friend helped me by doing a re-cap on it using the cap-kit from "Savon-Pat" but it didn’t resolve the problem, unfortunately. The cap-kit had just the most common capacitors that go bad in it, so it's possible some other caps are bad somewhere...
