Universal Mod RGB OUT With OSD / Mod Universal RGB OUT OSD

Post by Jrg_George »

I am New in this group but I have always been a follower and executor of the so-called "OSdMuX", whenever the TV Meets the conditions did it, unfortunately a week ago I received a Toshiba CF2668B impossible to Moderate due to its combined video and it was where I thought in applying the OSDMuX technique but in the RGB Out.

Although this Mod still requires improvements I have achieved the OSD and mode the TV, it would be a universal MOD that intercepts the RGB OUT after the jungle and before the Neckboard, This is not the prohibited mod here the neckboard is not touched

The best thing about this Mod is that it will make it possible to perform on almost any TV so far disabled, for example the Sony BA6 chassis among many others.
If your tv meets a good RGB IN please run OSDMUX

First Step - Primer Paso

We must work in a safe area between the cable that rises from the chassis and that comes from the RGB out of the jungle and interrupt it before entering the neckboard, before cutting the mark to which color each one corresponds and then measure what is its nominal voltage, mass Later you will need it to calculate the injection of the RGB of the OSD

STEP 2 - Paso 2
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1g_6lGg ... sp=sharing

You must have an RGB amplifier, here you can find a diagram http://members.optusnet.com.au/eviltim/ ... U2LShy_PKk, then use a 12-pin dpt On / On switch

In the central pins of the switch you connect the RGB cables that go in Output to the tube, in the first line the External RGB (IN) pins and the final row the RGB OUT that come from the jungle

This will allow you to change from MOD TV normal to MOD TV RGB IN (Esto permitira cambiar de MOD TV normal a MOD TV RGB IN)

Now perhaps the most complex thing you should inject the RGB OSD to the External RGB IN, here we need:
1- Initial Voltage measured in the RGB out when cutting (step 1) in my case they were 5.5Vp
2- Voltage of the External RGB IN after the amplifier, in my case it was 2.3Vp
This indicated that I could play with 3 Vp for the OSD circuit but as a rule my OSD injection should not be greater than the External RGB IN Voltage, so my circuit fixed 2.0Vp and also put 10K potentiometers to control the RGB sub colors
