If it's not still available commercially, it's not going to satiate anyone any more than any other suggestion for a long-discontinued, now-difficult-to-find switcher, like models from Audio Authority or Radio Shack.

For me, it doesn't interest me for video games, because it's not automatic, and it lacks TOSLINK for consoles that could use it--stock PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360; modded SNES, PS1, Saturn, GameCube, older PCs with GPUs with YPbPr output.

I think I'd prefer something closer to Audio Authority's 1156/1157 models, which are automatic, have 6 inputs, and accommodate both TOSLINK and coax for digital audio--but, again, these are also long-discontinued, difficult to find, and can be quite expensive.

Fair criticism. I mean it was only 20 quid and the picture it puts out is amazing, and component audio sounds pretty good to me.

I'm using it with a Wii, PS2, original Xbox and Saturn, all via component.

Automatic switching would be nice but damn I'm in the UK and there aren't even a handful of options available out here any more. Situation is better in the USA.

For the record i compared it side by side with the Joytech 540c which does have component and the image is worlds better.
