"Brand New" Ikegami 1990r

Post by Keetsy »

Hello all. New user so apologies if I screw something up :-)

I have a unique opportunity to buy a brand new Ikegami 1990r for about £600. I currently already have two monitors in my set up (BVM 20F1U & PVM 2130QM) which suit my need perfectly, but the fact that this monitor is "brand new" has me intrigued. I know it is a very high spec quality monitor (albeit difficult to use apparently) but I would like to ask anybody out there about their own experiences with the monitor regarding reliability / quality etc, to help me decide if I should take the plunge! Thanks.

Also a really great monitor. Almost impossible to find one over here - - you can probably pick up a hundred PVMs before finding one of those.

Thanks both for the feedback. I guess i can't go wrong at that price for a new monitor. I doubt the opportunity wll come again that's for sure. Guessing it has no scanlines either like a flat screen consumer set i once owned. I remember my ps2 looked amazing on that.
